Book, Chaco Sojourn, woodblock -

  The previous Blog Post showed the steps in carving the key block for the page illustration for Chaco Sojourn. So, after the key block is cut, it was then printed on a vintage hand-made Japanese paper (1910) with a warm black ink. Remember, in Japanese printing, the ink is water based with a rice paste binder and applied to the block with a brush.
