Woodblock, Moku Hanga, Edition of 16
(Edition is very low)
Printed on a thin Japanese paper using the Japanese print technique commonly referred to as Moku Hanga in an edition of 16.
The image was created from two small watercolors created on a very chilly evening iin Crested Butte, CO. I tromped through the snow and did two pencil sketches and then retreated to the warm car to finish them with watercolor. The old barns are on a hillside that overlooks Crested Butte's Main Street.
I first did a watercolor of the scene which received Best of Show at the Southern Watercolor Society annual exhibit in 2015.
The print is available framed only. It is framed with a cotton rag matting and backing, UV Glass and koroplast backing.
